Yes. The dashboard is fully responsive — sections stack on smaller screens and you can reorder them to suit how you work. Everything is touch-friendly.

Can I import my timetable?

Yes. You can import an `.ics` / iCalendar file exported from your school's MIS or calendar app. The smart importer detects classes from the event titles, lets you map or merge them, and then generates your recurring lessons automatically.

Can I use it with a fortnightly timetable?

Yes. Choose a **fortnightly** timetable when you set up your school year and set the Week A anchor date. Each recurring slot can run every week, Week A only, or Week B only. The dashboard shows which week you are in, and the cycle correctly pauses through holidays.

Does it skip holidays and INSET days?

It does. Add your holidays, half-terms, closures and INSET days to your school year and lesson generation skips those dates automatically. Holiday days are also shaded on the week view so they are easy to spot.

Yes. You can merge consecutive periods into a single double or triple block — with one readiness status, one set of objectives and one pupil count. Custom durations are supported too.

Can I track whether lessons are ready?

Every lesson has a readiness status — **Needs work**, **Underway** or **Ready** — so you can see at a glance what still needs doing. Add custom planning fields (printing, risk assessment, practical prep) and tick them off lesson by lesson.

What is the daily summary email?

An optional email that lists the day's lessons and what still needs doing. It is off by default; switch it on in Settings and pick your send time, timezone and which days it covers.

How do I add my classes?

Add classes during setup or from the Classes page. Give each a name, colour, subject, year group and a default pupil count that pre-fills on new lessons.

Can I mark a class as not needing planning?

Yes (Pro). Some slots — tutor time, duties, free periods — never need planning but still belong on your timetable. Mark the class as **No planning needed** and its future lessons start as Ready, keeping them out of your urgent list.

Can I add files and resources?

Yes. On the Pro plan you can upload files directly, or attach a link from Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox. The **Open all resources** action opens everything for a lesson in one click.

Where are my uploaded files stored?

Uploaded files are kept in secure object storage and served through short-lived signed links. Cloud-drive attachments only store a link — the file never leaves your provider.

Pro adds unlimited custom fields, direct file uploads, cloud-drive attachments and other power features. It is **£6 per month** or **£60 per year** (two months free).

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Open **Billing** in the app and use **Manage subscription** to reach the secure Stripe Customer Portal, where you can update your card, switch plan or cancel. You keep Pro access until the end of the period you have paid for.

How is my data stored?

Yes. From **Settings → Manage data** you can request a full export of everything Lesson Ready holds about you, delivered as a structured JSON file via a secure download link.

How do I sign in?

You can sign in with a passwordless magic link sent to your email, or with your Google or Microsoft (school) account — no new password to remember.

Can I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Go to **Settings → Manage data → Delete account**. We email you a final data export and then permanently remove your account and all associated data.

My magic-link email hasn't arrived.

Accepted Answer

Give it a minute and check your spam or junk folder. School mail filters can be strict — if it still hasn't arrived, try signing in with Google or Microsoft instead, or request a new link.

My calendar import didn't detect my classes correctly.

Accepted Answer

On the **Parse titles** step you can tell the importer which part of each event title is the class, teacher, subject or room. You can also merge detected groups that are really the same class.
